I have been waiting for a long time to add this bike to my website as they have been out of stock for so long. This bike is an excellent electric bike. Designed with significant storage capability, it’s medium-sized and extremely convenient for all types of users. With a powerful and rechargeable 10ah battery, this bike guarantees you a 36v power output enough to cover about 20 miles on a single charge. The range, however, may vary depending on the terrain type and the way you handle the bike.

The bike uses pedal-assist technology, which means when you pedal, the bike’s motor kicks in and takes up most of the strain of pedalling. This saves your legs, but you still get a workout from pedalling, even if it is easy pedalling. The bike offers 5 levels of pedal assistance. Each of the levels gives you more assistance, but remember, the more assistance you use, the more battery you consume, so ride judiciously.

The bike’s compact size and foldable design make it easy to transport and store, even in the back of your car. The bike, albeit small, has a certain weight to it especially when the battery is still inside the frame, so it does require a bit of strength to lift at 28kg but some of the larger fat tyre electric bikes are around 40kg, so I wouldn’t say it’s lightweight but it’s not excessively heavy either. The convenience of the foldable design does not compromise the bike’s quality, as evident from the sturdy handlebars and comfortable saddle.

The product name is City Electric Folding Bike is the perfect mode of transportation for commuting or small journeys, it wouldn’t really be a touring style bike for long rides, as its tyres are not suitable for much offroad riding, some but not a lot, and the battery is a little on the small side, this is just my opinion though, often you would be looking for a 48v battery bike for longer rides.

The model is City ebike F501. It comes in a soothing blue colour with a top speed of 15.5 mpg or 25 kph, and a mileage range of 15- 25 miles. Dual disk mechanical brakes ensure your safety on the go.

The bike package includes a charger with either an EU or UK plug, based on your preference. Delivery, free in most parts of the UK, usually takes between 3–10 days.

Type of Battery

This bike uses a battery that slides into the frame, as shown in the image. You have the option to purchase larger batteries for this bike. While the included battery size is not massive, you can replace it with a higher-capacity battery if needed, or a battery with bigger ampere-hours or AH, you will not be able to use a bigger voltage batter though, it will have to be 36 volts.  They usually go up to 17.5ah, which if you calculate the battery watts which you can do on our page, gives you a total of 840 watts.

As a person who has setup a lot of bikes, the instructions rarely make sense so I’ve added the video here, showing how you set up the E-bike, it goes a bit fast but keep pausing it and follow it, if the instructions are hard to follow.
