How do I choose the right size and type of electric bike?
Finding the right bike size online can be challenging. I recommend testing different bikes in person to determine the best frame size for your build. Personally, at 6 feet tall, I find that most bikes fit me comfortably. However, the importance of the perfect fit can vary depending on your preferences and how particular you are about sizing

Assist levels and throttle options vary across different electric bikes. While most e-bikes offer four or five levels of assist, some models may only provide a single level and gear. Throttles, which allow the bike to operate at full power, are technically illegal in the UK, yet they are still used. It’s crucial to research and understand the specific features of an e-bike before making a purchase.
What are the common maintenance issues with electric bikes?
Maintaining an electric bike is largely similar to maintaining a standard bicycle, with brake adjustments being the most common task. While it’s rare for an e-bike to encounter issues, they can occur. Rest assured, should any problems arise, I am committed to doing my utmost to help you resolve them efficiently.
Can I perform maintenance on my own, or do I need professional services?
For certain maintenance tasks, such as adjusting the brakes, you might initially need assistance from your bike shop, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the process. However, as you learn and gain experience, you’ll find that you require less help and can handle more of these tasks on your own.
